Dalmore 18

The Dalmore 18 is initially matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks. This gives the whisky its foundation of soft vanilla and honey notes, the company says. A proportion is then transferred to 30-year-old Matusalem oloroso sherry casks, provided by the bodega Gonzalez Byass. The sherry casks give the whisky a chocolatey flavor.

Dalmore 25

Matured initially in American white oak ex-bourbon casks. The whisky is then divided into 25-year-old sweet Palomino Fino sherry casks and first fill American white oak ex-bourbon casks. Here they are given an extended period of time to mature before they are reunited back together in first fill ex-bourbon casks. The whisky is then finessed in Tawny Port pipes from Portugal.

A Tale of Tokyo

The distillery’s first release finished in Japanese Mizunara oak casks. Inspiration for this innovation came from the brand’s whisky creator Dr. Bill Lumsden frequently traveling to Tokyo.

Dewar’s Double Double 37

Dewar’s Double Double 37 is the highest age expression released from the brand’s Double Double range. This limited edition release is the first of four in a special Collector’s Series celebrating Scotland’s most famous whisky regions. The landmark Double Double 37 whisky is finished in Oloroso sherry casks that held Aultmore single malt whisky.

Orphan Barrel Castle’s Curse 14YO Single Malt

This whisky matured in European oak. On the nose is tangerine, poached pear, sweet confectionery and dried herbs, the company reports, before a palate of vanilla, red apple and mint. Founded in 1817, Teaninich Distillery is located in the Northern Highlands of Scotland, overlooking the shores of the Cromarty Firth.

Bardstown Bourbon Co. Discovery #11

The first time since Discovery #4 the series has featured all Kentucky bourbons. Offers rainier cherry, butterscotch, brown sugar and roasted peanut on the nose, the company reports, before a palate of toffee and cinnamon spice, followed by a finish of red fruit and oak. 118.1 proof.

Bottled at cask strength at 98.1 proof. Contains 15-year-old straight bourbon whiskey from the 175-year-old Lawrenceburg, IN distillery. This year, Remus Gatsby Reserve features two bourbon mash bills: 75% corn, 21% rye, 4% barley malt; and 60% corn, 36% rye, 4% barley malt.

2XO American Oak

American Oak is the first blend in the Oak Series, a double oak technique where Dedman introduces additional charred oak to barrels with a moderate amount of rye in the mashbill. American Oak moves from caramel and toffee on the front palate, to roasted nutty notes on the mid-palate, finishing with a lingering mild spice, according to brand-provided notes.
